This website at www.ipi-group-ltd.com (the “Site”) is owned and operated by IPI Group Holdings Limited, a company registered in Cayman Islands under registration number 314847 with its registered office at 4th Floor, Harbour Place, 103 South Church Street, P.O. Box 10240, Grand Cayman, KY1-1002, Cayman Islands.

These terms and conditions, together with any documents referred to below, including our Privacy Statement (the “Terms”), set out the terms of use on which you may make use the Site and engage in our services. By using the Site, you confirm that you accept the Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to the Terms, you must not use the Site.

In these Terms, references to “IPI Group”, “our”, “us” or “we” are references to IPI Group Limited and any of its subsidiaries, and reference to “representative” is reference to any authorised third party service providers acting on behalf of IPI Group in providing services to you.

1. ABOUT US

IPI Group and its representatives work exclusively in relation to properties outside Hong Kong and are not required to be, nor are, licensed under the Estate Agents Ordinance (Cap. 511 of the Laws of Hong Kong) to deal with properties situated in Hong Kong.

In the event when IPI Group and its representatives are assigned to perform business activities that might trigger licensing requirement, they will only do so under the ambit of the relevant license(s) accordingly and will thereby perform those regulated activities on a legitimate basis.

 

2. DISCLAIMER

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • The information contained on the Site and in other material provided by us (the “Content”) are provided for information purposes only and will not be regarded as advice on securities or collective investment schemes or other financial or investment advice or advice of any other kind;

  • The Content is not intended for the purpose of advice, dealing or trading in securities or collective investment schemes or any other kind of investment;

GENERAL TERMS OF USE

By using the Site, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • We reserve the right to amend or update the Terms at any time. We recommend that whenever you access the Site you check this page for any changes, as such changes will be binding on you without notice.

  • The use of the Site is subject to technical defects or interruptions. IPI Group does not guarantee that the Site will always be available or free from viruses.

  • IPI Group shall not be liable for any loss, corruption or damage to your data or computer system arising out of or in connection with the use of the Site.

  • IPI Group may amend, suspend or terminate the Site or services at any time without notice.

  • The use of the Site is entirely at your own risk.

PRIVACY POLICY AND COOKIES

Our Privacy Statement sets out the terms on which IPI Group process any personal data we collect from you. By using our Site you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with the terms of the Privacy Statement.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Site. You may print one copy or download extracts for personal use. You must not use any part of the content for commercial purposes without obtaining a license from IPI Group.

4. GENERAL TERMS OF SERVICE

A list of IPI Group’s range of property-related services is available on request. IPI Group represents to you that:

  • Save as provided in IPI Group’s Client Services Agreement, all contracts are entered into between you and the relevant company/institution and not IPI Group.

  • IPI Group and its representatives have at no time made any warranties or forecasts as to expected return on investment.

  • IPI Group is not carrying on business in a “regulated activity” as defined in the SFO.

  • IPI Group shall be entitled to receive commissions from property companies or financial institutions connected with the provision of services.

RISK DISCLOSURE

Investment in property is relatively illiquid. Property values and rental yields may go down as well as up. You acknowledge that the property market is volatile and may be affected by political issues or economic conditions.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by Applicable Law, IPI Group shall not be liable to you for any loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue, or any indirect or consequential loss arising out of your use of the Site.

5. IPI GROUP EVENTS

The right to admission to an IPI Group event, seminar or webinar is reserved by the event manager. By submitting an application to attend an IPI Group Event, you agree to these Terms.

6. LOYALTY PROGRAMME

The IPI Group’s Global Investors Table Programme (the “Programme”) is designed for Members. Joining the Programme constitutes acceptance of these Terms. IPI Group reserves the right to terminate or modify the Programme at any time.

7. RIGHTS OF IPI GROUP

If you are in breach of the Terms, IPI Group reserves its right to claim damages against you (including reputational loss).

8. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

The Terms shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong. You and IPI Group irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in Hong Kong. In the event of inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
